Bridesmaid Leetice

Hello everyone,
Hope you are all doing well.
A few weekends ago I was bridesmaid for a friend. She was going to get married underneath a big tree with chinese lanterns hanging from it, however the weather did not permit this! Alizah ended up getting married inside the marque. It was still a lovely day despite the weather.

Merry Christmas

Sunday, November 30, 2008

Thought we would show all those with little girls in their family the cake at the twins birthday party last weekend. Chloe Kimberley and I had a lovely time sampling all the great food Kylie provided.
Mitchell has now finished Year 9. He is over at Michaels for the night. I look forward to having another hour in the day --- I don't have to go to the bus.
Kimberley is gearing up for school captain speeches on Friday. We've just done all the posters and badges to give to everyone. It is a pity Chelsea isn't here to oversee.
Having lots of storms lately. Kimberley is beside herself .. things will change I hope.
It looks like I've got a torn muscle in my shoulder. I have to have ultrasound and xrays this week. When I was at behs pool last weekend it killed me when I tried to swim.
Mitchell will have to hand washing out as I can't lift my arm above my head.
Doug is busy spraying the cane. It's growing so quick with the humidity.
Looking forward to seeing everyone
Love Merryl

THANK YOU!!
Ever just wanted to say a big thank you to the Hardwick's for this beautiful little dress, especially Kimberley who chose it! She can't wait to be a little bit bigger so she can fly around the house in it! And the little book was absolutely lovely too! I already have ideas swirling around in my head for the 1st birthday party!4 weeks to go!
Yipee! I've finally finished report cards! 4 more weeks than I will have survived a year teaching in Cairns! What a big achievment:)

Baby C's Room

You probably can't read this very clearly but it says...'They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendour.' It's from Is61.
Stalk design and creation by Mrs Chelsea Koch...(just giving credit where credit is due!)
And yes Aunty Merryl...those are fairy lights on the ceiling!!

Emerald - here I come
Hi all,
Just thought that I would let the family know that I am moving to Emerald on the weekend. I was originally going to be going back to Toowoomba for work, but then they asked me last week if I would prefer to go to Emerald, and I said why not. So it hasnt given me much time to organise things, mainly accommodation, which is really scarce up there due to all the mines, but I think I have somewhere to stay, at least for a little while. I'm not sure how long I will be up there for - apparently it is a 'wait and see' game. But it should be really good, as I will be able to get a lot more experience with different property types up there and work with a really good valuer, so that should be something. I will let you know in the next few weeks how it all goes. Love Lauren
